The Salmon Arm Curling Centre celebrated a milestone 90th birthday for curler Bob Paille on October 30th.
Teammates and league curlers celebrated with coffee and cupcakes after league play. Paille participates in the curling centre’s Monday stick league as well as both weekly senior men’s leagues. He has curled in a number of area clubs over the years including Enderby and Chase.
Paille began curling while in his first year of university in 1956, when a team was short a player and invited him out.
In celebration of this achievement Paille’s curling dues are complimentary this year and in the future.
