We moved to Salmon Arm in 2010. After persistent encouragement by my nephew Hugh Bennett, I started curling in 2013. Being a bit of a sports nut and I found myself hooked on the game immediately. Never having played before, it was a challenge but with a lot of practice, I found myself enjoying curling more and more. To give back to curling, I decided to try and help out in any way that I could. I started by helping with the School Instruction Program, got involved on the Senior Men’s board and then on the main board as a Director.
