Our 2026 Theme was tied to the 2026 Winter Olympics and titled: The Sky’s the Limit!
The entry fee included:
- PIZZA SUPPER (and fixin’s) for curlers
- Oodles of home made dessert
- Team Photos
- Door prizes
- Prizes for best costumes
- Cash Prizes
Adults enjoyed a Chili feed (by donation) and adult door prizes including a kitchen sink from Emco!
Novice Division
- Novice (~9-13 years of age)
- $40/team or $10/person
- Novice: please indicate if your team is comprised of young beginners or have some experience. We are running Novice-Beginners and Novice-Advanced Divisions.
- This Division runs on Feb 7th only.
Advanced Division (~13 years +)
- Medallions for 1st place
- Advanced curlers-your chance to bring friends who are new to curling (introduce them to our great game)
- Intermediate curlers are often included in this category.
- $60/team or $15/person
- Advanced teams compete for the Dave Belway Sr Memorial Cup
Wrap up of 2026 Spiel:
We were thrilled to host 65 curlers, 20+ coaches and curlers’ families! In fact over 130 ‘dults’ came to support their curlers and marveled at the incredible support we are so fortunate to receive from our Community Sponsors. So much fun, good food (Domino’s pizza supper, chili for adults) and door prizes, door prizes, door prizes for all.

Winners of the Dave Belway Sr Memorial Trophy 2026 was the Kyara O’Shea team from Armstrong/Salmon Arm/Kamloops!
We attracted world class athletes including the Jamaican Bobsled Team and even an amazing Rocketship to prove the Sky is NOT the Limit! Olympic torches led the way and we saw lots and lots of Canadian pride.
The smiles and laughter during the bonspiel . . . Success! Thank you to the families of the SACC Junior Program for all your help.
