SACC continues to monitor COVID-19 guidelines and protocols within B.C. relative to team sports. As explained in the August 2021 Newsletter, we are anticipating that curling will proceed this season with two sweepers and skips being allowed to sweep behind the T-line.
SACC’s current COVID-19 guidelines and protocols state that anyone entering the building (including but not limited to all players, spectators, juniors, parents, siblings, instructors, volunteers) must be fully (double) vaccinated by October 24th and that masks are mandatory in all public areas of the building but optional on the ice.
SACC requires anyone 12 years and older to show a (QR code) or other acceptable Proof of Vaccine.
At this time, curlers under the age of 12 will be unable to register.
Of course, we will continue to monitor further guidelines as they are communicated and will abide by all Provincial Health Office orders. You can call 1-833-838-2323 or visit a BC Services office to get a paper copy of your Proof of Vaccination.

Also attached to the Newsletter was the new fee schedule (see download below) as well as a comparison to last year’s fees. The new fees now create equity between daytime and evening league curling (something we have been striving to do for several years) and include a small annual increase while keeping affordability in mind. The Capital Improvement Fee has also been increased this year as we consider the age and state of our facility including the fact that the building will require a new roof soon.
